Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Tradelink mobile application or website (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts under Nigerian law. By using Tradelink, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Assume responsibility for all activity on your account
• Notify support@tradelinkonline.com.ng immediately of any unauthorised access

One person may not maintain more than one personal account without prior written consent from Tradelink.

• Payment is debited from the buyer's wallet and held in escrow at the time of order
• Funds are NOT transferred to the seller at the time of order placement
• Funds are released only upon the buyer's confirmation of receipt
• Auto-release may occur after a specified period if no action is taken by the buyer

Tradelink is not a bank and does not pay interest on escrow holdings.

As a buyer, you agree to:

• Purchase items you genuinely intend to buy
• Confirm receipt honestly and only after inspection
• Raise disputes promptly and in good faith
• Not abuse the dispute resolution system
• Provide accurate delivery information

As a seller, you agree to:

• List only items that are legally yours to sell
• Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and pricing
• Fulfil orders within the indicated timeframe
• Avoid listing prohibited items
• Refrain from manipulating reviews or disputes
• Comply with all applicable Nigerian laws, including tax obligations on income earned

• Wallet top-ups are processed via Paystack and are non-refundable except in cases of service error
• Withdrawals are processed within up to 2 business days
• Funds may be held pending verification or fraud investigation
• A platform fee is charged on completed transactions
• Bank chargebacks may result in equivalent wallet recovery

The following are strictly prohibited on Tradelink:

• Illegal goods or services
• Counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulently obtained items
• Weapons, ammunition, and explosives
• Narcotics and drug paraphernalia
• Pornographic content
• Intellectual property-infringing items
• Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or multi-level marketing products
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading conduct of any kind

Violations will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

• Either party may raise a dispute through the in-app dispute centre
• Both parties will have the opportunity to submit evidence
• Tradelink's dispute team will review all evidence and make a binding decision within 48 hours
• Possible outcomes include a full refund, full fund release, or a partial split
• Platform decisions are final but do not override your legal rights

All content on the Tradelink platform — including the app, website, logo, design, and underlying code — is the intellectual property of Tradelink. When you upload content, you grant Tradelink a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform.

Tradelink is not liable for:

• Lost profits, revenue, or data
• Third-party seller conduct or the quality of their products/services
• Service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the value of the transaction in dispute.

Tradelink may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraudulent or harmful behaviour
• Providing false registration information
• Attempts to circumvent platform security measures

You may close your account at any time. All pending transactions must be resolved before closure is finalised.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

We will announce material changes via the app at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of Tradelink after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
